Manvers Lake.

Manvers Lake was created in the 1990's as part of the remediation works following the closure of the Wath Main & Manvers Main colliery complex and associated railway yards, turning what was once one of the most polluted areas in Western Europe into what is now a gem of South Yorksire, with excellent water quality and a healthy and diverse eco-system.

Since 2009, Manvers Waterfront Boat Club have managed the lake and now operates a thriving multi-land and water sports, a real gem within South Yorkshire.

Yorkshire Sauna are proud and grateful to be able to offer our unique sauna experiences at such a magical location.

Your Sauna Host.

With 20 years in the health and fitness industry, Rich has always been passionate about helping people feel their best. His love for sauna and the powerful effects of hot & cold therapy began while traveling for work, where he experienced firsthand how heat and cold immersion can restore the body and mind.

Unable to find anything quite like it back home, Rich decided to create Yorkshire Sauna—a space where people can unwind, reconnect with nature, and embrace the benefits of outdoor sauna experiences. His mission is simple: to make sauna therapy accessible, welcoming, and truly memorable for as many people as possible.

“A sauna not only changes the way you feel—it changes the way you carry stress, tension, and fatigue. The heat heals.”
